Analysis:
The White Sox had seemed intent on skipping Rodon this week, but they now considering giving Chris Sale an extra day between starts, which would create an opportunity for Rodon. After posting a 3.20 ERA in May, Rodon struggled to a 4.73 mark in June, but he is averaging a strikeout per inning and has allowed just three homers in 55.1 frames this season.
