Red Sox's Bogaerts day-to-day with left forearm contusion

Xander Bogaerts left Thursday's contest with the Texas Rangers in the top of the fourth inning with a left forearm contusion.
The Boston Red Sox shortstop was hit with by a pitch in the second inning, but remained in the game until being pinch hit for by Carlos Peguero in the fourth.
Bogaerts, who is considered day-to-day, entered play slashing a respectable .268/.315/.376 with 15 RBIs in 44 games for the slumping Red Sox.
