Brandon Beachy didn't throw a baseball last year, but teams are already lining up in hopes he'll pitch for them next season.

The Texas Rangers are among the clubs reportedly interested in the free-agent right-hander, according to the Dallas Morning News, though it's unclear if they've put forth an offer. Beachy, who was non-tendered by the Atlanta Braves earlier this month, is recovering from his second Tommy John surgery.

"Several teams are reviewing his medicals," Beachy's agent, Robert Martin, told the Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News. "I do not think a decision is imminent, but he does have multiple offers."

Beachy last appeared in a big-league game back in August 2013, and is expected to receive a similar contract to the incentive-based deal awarded to fellow Tommy John patient and former teammate Kris Medlen this week.

The 28-year-old Beachy owns a career 3.23 ERA and 9.2 strikeout-per-nine rate across 46 major league starts.
