Washington Nationals right-hander Jordan Zimmermann would not have secured the first no-hitter in franchise history Sunday if not for the efforts of left fielder Steven Souza, who stole a base hit from Christian Yelich with a sensational catch to end the season on a celebratory note.

Souza, who was appearing in the 21st game of his career, was a defensive replacement in the ninth inning for Ryan Zimmerman.
"Just a team moment. Just pure excitement," Souza said following the game. "It's just incredible for me."
