Carlos Beltran is back in baseball.

The former All-Star outfielder is joining the New York Yankees' broadcast booth, where he'll call 36 of their games on YES Network in 2022.

For Beltran, 44, this will mark his first job in the sport since his role in the Houston Astros' sign-stealing scheme was revealed. The New York Mets hired him as their manager in November 2019, but he lasted less than two months before the sides parted ways in the wake of the scandal.

Beltran enjoyed a fine 20-year playing career with seven teams, including starring turns with both the Yankees and Mets. He'll be a first-time candidate for the Hall of Fame next winter.

Beltran previously worked in the Yankees' front office following his retirement as an adviser to general manager Brian Cashman.
