Report: D-Backs' Peralta, Pirates' Frazier generating trade interest
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder David Peralta and Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier could be on the move before the July 30 trade deadline.
The struggling D-Backs have already made Peralta available, rival executives told Robert Murray of FanSided. Frazier will reportedly be the Pirates' top trade chip. He's also generating interest.
Peralta has four home runs, 30 RBIs, a .711 OPS, and a major-league best five triples over 57 games for Arizona. The 33-year-old won a Silver Slugger Award in 2018 (.868 OPS in 146 contests) and a Gold Glove during the 2019 campaign.
Frazier is having a career season for Pittsburgh. The 29-year-old is slashing .332/.394/.472 and is tied for the MLB lead with 76 hits and 20 doubles.
The Pirates (23-35) sit at the bottom of the NL Central, while the D-Backs (20-41) have the worst record in baseball.
