The deal is worth $800,000, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.
Brebbia, 30, posted a 3.59 ERA and 3.13 FIP over 72 2/3 innings in 2019 but missed the entire 2020 campaign due to Tommy John surgery.
Over 161 career appearances spanning three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, Brebbia owns a 3.14 ERA and 3.39 FIP with a 27.4% strikeout rate and 7.5% walk rate.
Brebbia marks the second offseason addition to the Giants' bullpen, with the team landing righty Matt Wisler earlier this winter on a one-year deal.
