Right-hander Kyle Barraclough agreed to terms with the San Diego Padres on a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
Barraclough owns a career 3.53 ERA in five seasons with the Miami Marlins, Washington Nationals, and San Francisco Giants. He's three years removed from a sensational 2016 campaign in which he posted a 14.0 K/9 rate.
The Padres' bullpen posted the sixth-best WAR in baseball last season, according to FanGraphs.
San Diego also signed lefty Drew Pomeranz to a multi-year deal in late November.
