McCutchen debuts beardless look before joining Yankees
Andrew McCutchen is officially ready to join the New York Yankees.
A clean shave for @TheCUTCH22.

Welcome to the Yankees! 😆 pic.twitter.com/hmtdT1mLCo
McCutchen has donned facial hair for much of his career, and throughout his brief tenure with the San Francisco Giants, but that wasn't going to fly in the Bronx as the Yankees have a no-beard policy. Mustaches have historically been fine (see Jason Giambi and Don Mattingly), but McCutchen elected for a fully clean slate.
He knew it was coming after being traded to the Yankees in exchange for two prospects, and shared the image on his Instagram story after tweeting that it would take some getting used to.
Just gonna take me a sec to get used to my freshly shaved face😂. Other than that...let’s go!

The next step will be putting on the pinstripes.
