Pitchers like Tanner Roark need all the help they can get to hit a triple.
The Washington Nationals right-hander benefited from a bizarre hop off the top of Citi Field's side wall that sent his base hit up and over Brandon Nimmo's glove, allowing Roark to scamper - er, plod - to third base with relative ease.
The hit goes into the books as a 206-foot triple for Roark with an exit velocity of 67 mph.
