Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Jeremy Jeffress pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated Tuesday, according to TMZ Sports.
The 30-year-old - who was charged with a misdemeanor DWI after being pulled over by police in August 2016 - was sentenced to the minimum, three days in jail, but was credited with time served and won't be returning to jail, according to TMZ.
Police said Jeffress admitted to drinking three to four cups of Hennessy and Coke before driving, TMZ adds.
Jeffress was playing with the Texas Rangers at the time of his arrest. The maximum penalty for a charge of this nature in Texas is 180 days in jail.
He attended rehab after the arrest and was traded to the Brewers in July, where he went 4-0 with a 3.65 ERA in 22 appearances.
