The first two games of next season at Wrigley Field will be filled with more celebration for the Chicago Cubs and their fans.

Prior to the Cubs' home opener - scheduled for April 10 against the Los Angeles Dodgers - the team will raise a championship banner, then hold a World Series ring ceremony before the second game in the series, owner Tom Ricketts said at a convention Saturday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times' Gordon Wittenmyer.

Though it's unclear exactly where you raise a banner in an open-air stadium, after a 108-year drought, it's likely anywhere will do.

Taking a page out of the Kansas City Royals' book, Chicago will also wear special uniforms for the ring ceremony, according to Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune.
