The Seattle Mariners are reportedly close to bolstering their bullpen, as the club is on the verge of signing southpaw Marc Rzepczynski, a source told FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.
The deal is for two years, reports MLB Network's Jon Morosi.
A journeyman reliever, Rzepczynski has played for six teams in his eight-year MLB career. He had success in 2016 with the Oakland Athletics and Washington Nationals, however, posting a combined 2.64 ERA in 70 games.
