Twitter rips Desmond after blown catch attempt
Ian Desmond may have cost his Texas Rangers the opening game of the ALDS against the Toronto Blue Jays, and, as we've come to expect, the Twittersphere is letting him have it.
The shortstop-turned-center fielder completely misread a Troy Tulowitzki fly ball in the third inning Thursday, allowing the Blue Jays to score three runs on the triple to put them up 5-0 early:
