Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Francisco Liriano did something no pitcher has ever done on Tuesday: homer off Felix Hernandez.
Liriano hammered a solo shot over the center-field wall in the second inning off the Seattle Mariners ace for his second career home run. Liraino, who hit his first homer last August off Mat Latos, entered the game 32-for-213 (.150).
The home run was about the only bright spot on the night for Liriano. He was pulled after 3 1/3 innings after allowing seven runs off eight hits and four walks.
