A-Gon becomes clueless tourist exploring NYC
New York City seems to be eating Adrian Gonzalez alive.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' first baseman was enjoying a beautiful day exploring The Big Apple on Saturday, but he had a few bumps in the road. First, he followed teammate Yasiel Puig's adventures on Friday and went to see the Statue of Liberty.
Well ... not the statue. A version of it. Or so he said. Somebody break the news to him.
But after all the fun in Times Square with the ... "statue," it was time to go to work. So Gonzalez, like the rest of us, hopped on the "7" line to get to Citi Field, where his Dodgers face the Mets Saturday night. Along the way, he somehow ended up with a balloon, and then couldn't figure out how to get to his train.
We'll chalk this subway mishap up to unfamiliarity with mass transit since he lives in Los Angeles.
Let's just hope he hasn't planned to spend his Sunday fishing or swimming in the East River.
