San Francisco Giants right-hander Johnny Cueto is known throughout baseball for his interesting wind-ups, including his patented shimmy shake. But on Thursday the unique Dominican tried to bring a new style of hitting to the plate during his at-bat against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Cueto took three steps forward prior to trying to hit a pitch from Diamondbacks starter Zack Greinke.
The approach proved unsuccessful as Cueto nearly toppled to the ground.
