"The Kid" spent 13 of his 22 years in MLB with Seattle, slashing .292/.374/.553 while launching 417 home runs and earning MVP honors in 1997. The Mariners retired Griffey's iconic No. 24 throughout the entire organization in January.
Griffey will be inducted alongside former catcher Mike Piazza on July 24.
