All Miguel Cabrera wanted to do was help the ball boy.
After a pitch from Astros hurler Mike Fiers bounced away from the catcher's glove on Sunday, the Detroit Tigers slugger decided to help out the ball boy by jogging behind home plate to toss him the baseball.
Cabrera's aim wasn't great, though, as his throw missed and instead hit the first-base dugout rail - much to the amusement of his teammates, the Astros' bench, and even Cabrera himself.
After watching that throw, however, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus is probably happy the 2012 Triple Crown winner doesn't play third base anymore.
