Price shines against former Blue Jays club
David Price helped the Toronto Blue Jays clinch their first postseason berth since 1993 last year, but he showed no remorse for his former club Saturday at Fenway Park.
The southpaw tossed seven innings of two-run ball, striking out nine batters in a 4-2 Boston Red Sox victory.

Price went 9-1 with a 2.30 ERA in 11 starts after being acquired by Toronto at the non-waiver trade deadline, but he struggled in four postseason appearances, recording a 1-2 record with a lofty 6.17 ERA.
The 2012 American League Cy Young Award winner famously stated he was "saving all his postseason wins for the Red Sox" after inking a lucrative seven-year, $217-million pact with the club last winter.
He has simply dominated the Blue Jays since 2012.

"I hadn't thrown the ball the way that I know that I can the first two starts,'' Price said postgame. ''To throw the baseball the way I did today against the Blue Jays, which is an extremely good hitting team, feels good,''
Price is now 2-0 in three starts for Boston, and has recorded an impressive 27 strikeouts in 18 innings of work.
