VIDEO: 105-year-old Rangers fan tosses 1st pitch
Elizabeth Sullivan waited a long time to throw out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game, but the long time fan of the franchise got her wish on Wednesday.
Considering she's 105 years old, there's no telling how long she's been waiting.
Sullivan, whose favorite Rangers player was Ivan 'Pudge' Rodriguez, was delighted to get such an amazing opportunity.
"I just was sorry I didn't get it high enough where it didn't hit the ground," Sullivan told reporters after tossing the pitch. "I did better when we were practicing. ... You can't believe how wonderful it was. Wait 'til you get to be 105. It's a whole different ballgame."
Unfortunately, Sullivan's pitch didn't turn out to be lucky, as the Rangers fell to the Mariners for a second consecutive day, losing 9-5.
