Twitter reacts to surprise Ballon d'Or nominees

Reports surfaced Friday that FIFA had narrowed down a list of nominees for the prestigious Ballon d'Or award, and needless to say, a few of the names on the list have caught fans and pundits alike by surprise.

Most of the bewildered reactions concern Arsenal and Colombia shot-stopper David Ospina's inclusion on the list, especially in light of his disastrous performance during a midweek Champions League loss to Olympiacos.

To Ospina's credit, he was both honoured for being shortlisted and apologetic for his ghastly efforts against Olympiacos:
