Jackson Martinez scores as Atletico Madrid breezes past Sevilla 3-0
Jackson Martinez scored his first goal for Atletico Madrid on Sunday as the club made it two wins in two games in an impressive 3-0 defeat of Sevilla.
The Colombian striker, signed from FC Porto this summer, came off the bench and scored Atletico's third shortly afterwards with a fantastic left-footed effort from well outside the area.
Martinez's effort followed shortly after Gabi floated in a great strike from a similar distance with his right.
Gabi: “From the beginning we have gone out to win, we have played a very rounded game. I congratulate my teammates” #GoAtleti

It was a party atmosphere at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, as the Andalusian side hosted its first La Liga game of the season. But the crowd was silenced when Koke scored the opener on 34 minutes.
Sevilla visits Levante after the international break, while Atletico hosts Barcelona the day after.
