VIDEO: Steven N'Zonzi being Steven N'Zonzi; sees red in first La Liga match
Sevilla new boy Steven N'Zonzi didn't wait long to make a name for himself in Spain, as the ex-Stoke City midfielder earned a red card in La Liga's opening fixture.
Already carrying a yellow card from a 47th minute infraction, N'Zonzi seemed to take umbrage with a touchline incident with Malaga midfielder Nordin Amrabat.
The lanky Frenchman, known for having a mean streak from his time with the Potters, caught up to Amrabat, cutting him down with a cynical tackle from behind.
N'Zonzi - who amazingly had only two red cards brandished, to go with 15 yellows in his three years with Stoke - is known for having a bit of an indignant attitude on the pitch.
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is familiar with the midfielder's penchant for doubtless fits of anger, where N'Zonzi momentarily loses his mind only to react in disbelief when the whistle blows.
The match between Malaga and the twice-defending Europa League champs ended in a 0-0 draw.
