LFP selects Ideal XI from 2014-15 La Liga season
If these 11 players were to take the pitch together, no opposing side would stand a chance.
On Monday, the Liga de Futbol Profesional (LFP) selected its Ideal XI from the 2014-15 La Liga season, which comprised a 4-3-3 that features players from the five clubs that topped the table.

Unsurprisingly, more than half the team is made up of players from Barcelona, who captured their 23rd La Liga title en route to winning the Treble. Claudio Bravo was selected between the posts; Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, and Jordi Alba were all chosen in the backline; Ivan Rakitic was picked in the midfield; and Lionel Messi was obviously appointed on the right side of the forward line.
The remainder of the Ideal XI is rounded out by Nicolas Otamendi of Valencia CF, James Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid, Grzegorz Krychowiak of Sevilla FC, and Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid.
It's hard to make a case that any of the aforementioned players don't belong in the Ideal XI, although there will surely be some arguments regarding the omission of Neymar and Javier Mascherano.
