VIDEO: Villarreal's Jonathan dos Santos scores tight-angled volley vs. Malaga

Just when it looked like Saturday's fixture between Malaga and Villarreal would be scoreless at the interval, Jonathan dos Santos stepped up to give Marcelino Garcia Toral's side a first-half lead.

After Malaga's backline failed to properly deal with a cross into their 18-yard box, dos Santos proceeded to run onto the ball and blast a right-footed volley past 'keeper Carlos Kameni, who probably should have done a better job of protecting the near post.

The goal marked dos Santos's second of the season.
