Barcelona's Griezmann could miss rest of season with thigh injury
Antoine Griezmann is in danger of missing Barcelona's last matches of the season after suffering a quadriceps injury in his right leg, the Catalan club announced Sunday.
The French forward suffered the injury in the first half of Saturday's 1-0 victory over Real Valladoid. He was replaced at halftime by Luis Suarez.
Although it's unclear how long Griezmann will be out, Barcelona say he is currently unavailable for selection.
The 29-year-old has struggled to adjust to life at the Camp Nou since his €120-million transfer from Atletico Madrid last summer, scoring just 15 goals in all competitions.
Barcelona will take on Osasuna on Thursday before their final match of the season against Alaves on July 19. The Blaugrana sit one point back of top spot in La Liga, trailing a Real Madrid side that has a match in hand.
