Real Madrid made short work of APOEL in Tuesdays' Champions League tilt in Cyprus, defeating the Group H minnow 6-0 to secure a second-place finish behind Tottenham - thus advancing to the tournament's knockout phase.

Zinedine Zidane's side hit a few interesting milestones during the 6-0 rout, as did Cristiano Ronaldo on a personal level. Here's how Real Madrid's win over APOEL looked, by the numbers:

4 - Real Madrid scored four goals in the first half of a Champions League away fixture for the first time ever. Luka Modric, Karim Benzema (twice), and Nacho found the back of the net before half-time, and Ronaldo rounded out the evening with a brace in the second half.

18 - Ronaldo has now scored 18 goals in the Champions League in 2017, a record for a single player in a calendar year.

21 - Real Madrid progressed to the Champions League knockout phase for a 21st consecutive time, an incredible achievement for the club that has won the European title 12 times.

27 - Ronaldo has supplied 27 assists in the Champions League over the last 10 years, more than any other player in that time. The Portuguese icon set up Benzema's 45th-minute effort, allowing the Frenchman to score his second goal of the night.

50 - Real Madrid became the first team to win 50 away matches in the Champions League, pipping bitter rival Barcelona to the milestone. The Blaugrana have 49 away wins, while Bayern Munich sits third with 43. Manchester United has recorded 42 away victories, too.

53 - Benzema's brace wasn't insignificant, either; those two goals saw him surpass Arsenal icon Thierry Henry as the highest-scoring Frenchman in Champions League history, with 53 goals to Henry's 51. He reached the mark in 98 matches, to Henry's 115.

98 - Ronaldo has 98 goals all time for Real Madrid in the Champions League, which is more than any other player has ever scored for a single club. He's got a slight edge on archrival Lionel Messi, who has 97 goals for Barcelona in Europe's premier competition. Ronaldo achieved this pinnacle position in eight years at the club, while Messi did so in 13 seasons at Barcelona.

100 - If you count Ronaldo's two goals in the UEFA Super Cup, he's reached 100 combined goals for Real Madrid in UEFA competitions. Not bad.

1978 - With the 6-0 win, Real Madrid earned its biggest away result in the Champions League or European Cup since a 7-0 victory over Progres Niederkorn in September 1978. It was still three goals shy of the club's biggest-ever win in Europe, however - that came in the 1961-62 European Cup, when Los Blancos defeated Boldklubben 1913 by a 9-0 scoreline.
