Sevilla snags Guido Pizarro from Tigres
Sevilla's midfield is set for an injection of Argentine muscle.
Days after announcing Ever Banega's return to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Sevilla has signed Buenos Aires-born Guido Pizarro from Mexican giant Tigres on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Los Rojiblancos revealed the signing Monday, adding that Pizarro had a successful medical and will now join up with teammates for pre-season training.

With the additions of Pizarro and Banega, Sevilla now boasts a first-team squad littered with a host of Argentinian players including Joaquin Correa, Walter Montoya, Nico Pareja, and Gabriel Mercado, as former gaffer Jorge Sampaoli's imprint remains with the Andalusian fourth-place finisher.
Pizarro, 27, makes a maiden move to Europe after five seasons with Liga MX's Tigres, where the central midfielder scored five times in 116 appearances after another half-decade run with Buenos Aires suburban side Lanus. Pizarro also has a sole Argentina cap under his belt, making his La Albiceleste debut against Bolivia in La Paz on March 28.
