Lionel Messi gave Barcelona's La Liga chase a kick in the rear after the Argentine forward chipped Osasuna 'keeper Salvatore Sirigu in the 12th minute of Wednesday's contest.

The sweet tally was the first of seven on the day for the Blaugrana, who kept the pressure on Real Madrid in the race for the league title with a 7-1 destruction of the lowly Pamplona-based club.
Messi, along with maligned duo Paco Alcacer and Andre Gomes, scored twice at the Camp Nou, while Javier Mascherano netted his first goal for the Blaugrana in his 319th appearance.
Your move, Madrid.
