Barcelona star Andres Iniesta was stretchered off in the 12th minute of Saturday's league tilt against Valencia after suffering an apparent knee injury on a midfield tackle by Enzo Perez.
Iniesta collided with Perez and fell hard on both knees, then immediately gestured to the bench for medical attention, holding his right knee and hitting the ground in pain.
The Spanish midfielder was replaced by Ivan Rakitic after being stretchered off in tears, with manager Luis Enrique enraged on the sideline.
Enrique has every reason to be upset, as Barcelona's injury list grows longer by the day. Iniesta joins Arda Turan, Gerard Pique, Jasper Cillessen, Jordi Alba, and Rafinha in the treatment room, which could leave Barcelona shorthanded in midfield for a Nov. 1 Champions League match against Manchester City.
