Watch: Barcelona players read ... kind Tweets?
Reuters
Barcelona is one of the best-supported clubs in the world, boasting an incredible 2.5 million YouTube subscribers and 18.8 million Twitter followers, so it's only natural the club and its players get quite a few comments online.
The Catalan outfit decided to share some of those Tweets with Lionel Messi, Ivan Rakitic, Arda Turan, Sergi Roberto, and Gerard Pique in this cleverly hidden ad for Audi, done in the style of Jimmy Kimmel's "Celebrities read mean tweets" segment.
Rather than reading less-than-tasteful Twitter commentary, however, the organizers set up Barcelona players with nothing but praise, making for somewhat uncomfortable viewing. Still, watching Messi pretend not to be an alien is kind of fun.
