Real Madrid's attacking tandem of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have returned to training with the team after missing out on the club's victory over Espanyol on Sunday.
Bale is nursing a hip concern, while Ronaldo has been ailed by a knee issue since Euro 2016. However, both men trained with the team on Monday, and could both be fit enough for Wednesday's visit from Villarreal.
If not, James Rodriguez, Marco Asensio, or Lucas Vazquez will slot in for the decorated pair in Zinedine Zidane's squad.
