Fresh off a stellar Euro 2016 campaign with runner-up France, Moussa Sissoko's stock continues to rise, so much so that Real Madrid is now reportedly monitoring the 26-year-old midfielder.
With Everton and Juventus both potentially targeting Sissoko, Real has reportedly thrown its hat into the ring, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.
Juve's interest in Sissoko is tethered to Paul Pogba's potential move to Manchester United, but even if the Red Devils get their guy, the Old Lady may now be left wanting after the emergence of Real's interest over the last few days.
Real would have little trouble meeting Newcastle's £35-million price tag for the player, with speculation suggesting that the reigning Champions League winner have the advantage in part because of current Magpies gaffer Rafa Benitez's contacts with his hometown club.
Sissoko has publicly expressed his desire to leave St. James' Park ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign, and with Georginio Wijnaldum likely to join Liverpool in the coming days, it's understood that his midfield mate will follow out the exit door.
