Liverpool midfielder James Milner is set to miss England's upcoming friendlies against Spain and France with a hamstring problem, according to multiple reports.
The Reds vice-captain had to leave Thursday's 1-0 Europa League defeat of Rubin Kazan early after taking a knock to his leg, and missed Sunday's showdown with Crystal Palace as a result.
It was the first Premier League match the 29-year-old hasn't started since his summer move from Manchester City.
The injury makes it unlikely that he will feature for Roy Hodgson's squad over the international break, paving the way for the likes of teammate Adam Lallana to prove his worth for his country.
