Report: Marseille interested in CSKA Moscow's Seydou Doumbia
Relatively quiet during the January transfer window, Marseille is looking to bolster an already proficient attack with CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia.
The 28-year-old Doumbia joined the Russian giants in the summer on loan from Roma after spending five years with CSKA, for whom he scored 81 goals in 96 appearances.
Roma is likely willing to sell the Ivorian international, leading to interest from several clubs including Marseille, according to a report from L'Equipe.
While he performed well in Moscow - pairing five goals with five assists for CSKA - Doumbia was awful in half a season with Roma, prompting his season-long loan from the Eternal City.
Led by young Belgian goal machine Michy Batshuayi's 12 goals, Olympique has been the French top flight's third highest scoring side with 31 goals as Michel's men sit in eighth - five points adrift of third-place Angers.
