Leicester City signs midfielder N'Golo Kante from Caen
Following today's signing of defender Yohan Benalouane from Atalanta, Leicester City announced the signing of midfielder N'Golo Kante from Ligue 1 outfit Caen on a four-year deal.
The pacey 24-year-old central midfielder joins Claudio Ranieri's Foxes following a successful season with Caen where he made 36 starts for the northwestern French club, scoring two goals and chipping-in five assists.
Kante is a box-to-box midfielder whose strongest skills are tackling and keeping possession, two assets that will endear him to the gaffer and cater well to the demands of the Premier League.
The Frenchman of Malian descent should help fill the void left by the summer departure of Argentian star midfielder Esteban Cambiasso.
The Foxes 2015-16 Premier League campaign starts Saturday August 8th when they host Sunderland at King Power Stadium.
