Draxler: PSG egos 'not easy for the whole team'
Paris Saint-Germain's Julian Draxler has admitted the egos of some of his capital city colleagues can weigh heavily on the rest of the team.
Much has been made of the relationships shared by Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani, and Neymar, and with the latter reportedly pushing for a Barcelona return, it's a bit unsettled at PSG at the moment.
"They live football, they want to score every game, so they have an ego," Draxler told AFP, per BBC Sport. "So sometimes it's not easy for the whole team, but if you are lucky enough to play alongside these players, it's just a pleasure every day."
Neymar has been omitted from PSG's preseason trip to China to face Sydney FC as he fights to regain fitness, and with club sporting director Leonardo's admission that the Brazilian can leave "if there is an offer that suits everyone," rumors of a La Liga return refuse to die.
Still, Draxler expressed guarded praise in his analysis of PSG's stars. "All of them are exceptional players, it is hard to find in the world players of this level," he added. "But of course they have their own minds, their own heads."
Draxler, 25, is entering his third season with the Ligue 1 holders, with last season's 31 league appearances marking his most productive campaign at the Parc des Princes.
