The saga is almost over.
After West Ham United accepted a £25-million offer from Dimitri Payet's former club Marseille, the France international tweeted a picture celebrating his return home.

Payet will undergo a medical on the French Riviera before making a move he's hankered for since telling Slaven Bilic he wanted to leave east London earlier in January.
The Reunion native settled in Marseille when he joined from Lille in 2013, but things rapidly soured when he left for West Ham in the summer of 2015.
Despite playing while West Ham has been largely off-colour this season, Payet has made more key passes per 90 minutes than any other regularly deployed Premier League player.
