Bosnia sack manager Safet Susic

Bosnia's 3-0 loss to Israel in Euro 2016 qualifying on Sunday reportedly proved to be manager Safet Susic's final outing.

Despite leading Bosnia to its first-ever World Cup appearance, Susic, who was appointed in 2009, has struggled to remain popular among supporters.

He oddly received a new contract after Bosnia were eliminated in the group stage of this year's World Cup, where they were placed in a relatively weak Group F that featured the likes of Argentina, Iran, and Nigeria. Susic also came under criticism for a number of squad selections and tactical decisions in recent months.

The Balkan nation currently sits fifth in their Euro 2016 qualifying group with only two points from their opening four fixtures, and look set on missing out on the tournament.
