Madrid's Tchouameni has sprained ankle, reportedly out 1 month
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is set to miss around a month after the Spanish champions said Wednesday he has a sprained ankle.
The midfielder could miss La Liga games against Osasuna, Leganes, Getafe and Athletic Bilbao, as well as the team's visit to face Liverpool in the Champions League on November 27, with Spanish reports suggesting he will return early in December.
The France international is also expected to miss his country's Nations League games against Israel and Italy on November 14 and 17 respectively.
"Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid's medical services on our player Aurelien Tchouameni, he has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle," said the club in a statement.
Tchouameni suffered the injury as Madrid fell to a 3-1 Champions League defeat against AC Milan on Tuesday and was replaced at half-time.
