FC Koln's Jonas Hector admits Liverpool interest
FC Koln and German international left-back Jonas Hector admits he is happy in the Bundesliga, but a call from Jurgen Klopp could change his mind.
Klopp, who is in his first campaign at the helm of Liverpool, is reportedly interested in the 25-year-old defender to add depth to the mid-table Merseyside outfit.
When asked about the prospects of leaving the North-Rhine Westphalian side in the summer, Hector appears happy for the moment, though he's not willing to rule out the possibility of a move.
"You always have to consider whether you are ready to take the next step. But at the moment I am not thinking about it," Hector told Eurosport, courtesy of the Liverpool Echo.
"I think what we have to do at FC Koln is enough. I also have with the national team a big tournament ahead of us."
Hector may change his mind if the impassioned former Borussia Dortmund gaffer in the English top flight comes calling.
When asked if a call from Klopp would compel him to change his mind, Hector admitted, "Then I would start to think about it."
