Chelsea ready to ban fans who appeared to throw coins at Manchester City players
London - Chelsea is ready to ban any supporters found guilty of throwing coins at Manchester City players during their FA Cup fifth round tie at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Missiles were thrown from the lower section of the Matthew Harding Stand as City players celebrated David Faupala's first half equaliser in front of the massed ranks of Chelsea's support.
Television cameras showed referee Andre Marriner collecting three objects from the corner of the pitch, the first of which appeared to be a coin.
