PHOTO: West Brom's Chris Brunt struck by coin after FA Cup defeat
West Bromwich Albion defender Chris Brunt was hit by a coin thrown by a Baggies supporter following the club's dismal 3-1 FA Cup fifth-round defeat to Championship side Reading on Saturday at the Madejski Stadium.
Brunt, who joined West Brom in 2007 from Sheffield Wednesday, walked over to the away supporters section following the loss to applaud the fans that made the two-hour trek southeast on the M40.

To the dismay of the Northern Ireland international, a fan threw a coin at Brunt, striking the full-back beneath his left eye and leaving a noticeable mark.
Brunt then confronted the fan, displaying the coin in a heated exchange before offering his match kit to another supporter in attendance.
Visibly upset by the reaction of the Baggies supporters, Brunt told the BBC postmatch that he was "disgusted" by the fan.
"I was walking towards our supporters at the end, and they thought it was okay to throw a coin at their own players. I'm disgusted.
"They paid a lot of money to come, but a small minority spoiled it. There were young kids there. I was absolutely disgusted and ashamed."
