Manchester United confirms David De Gea suffered knee injury in warm-up

Following a 2-1 loss to FC Midtjylland in the Europa League, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal confirmed that goalkeeper David De Gea suffered a knee injury during warm-up and will undergo a scan tomorrow for further assessment.
De Gea was initially named to the Red Devils' starting lineup but was a late scratch and replaced by Sergio Romero after hurting himself before the match. His replacement fared well but could not prevent a loss away from home, conceding twice to give Midtjylland a rare win.

He is the 14th player to pick up an injury, and another key figure sidelined as Wayne Rooney was also ruled out for two months prior to the match.
