Liverpool's Coutinho, Sturridge, Origi, Skrtel all expected back in training this week
Liverpool is, at long last, getting some positive news from the infirmary.
Manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking Monday, confirmed that a quartet of injured players are set to get back on the training pitch this week, with Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, and Martin Skrtel all on the mend.
"(They are) closer, close to returning to training. Martin needs two or three days' more time. Divock and Phil and Daniel should return to training - Daniel on Wednesday and the other two on Thursday. That's the plan," Klopp said.
"And Martin, I think, at the weekend. These are our transfers … four new players for LFC! That is good for us, of course."

Sturridge, consistently hampered by a series of ailments throughout his promising - yet infuriating - career, hasn't featured since December due to a hamstring issue. Coutinho, Origi, and Skrtel, meanwhile, have been out of action since Jan. 5, Dec. 26, and Dec. 20, respectively.
Though Tuesday's match against Leicester City will come too quickly for the four men, their return to training could allow each of them to play a part in Saturday's contest against Sunderland.
