Norwich boss Alex Neil looking to strengthen squad in January window
Sitting 15th, perilously close to the relegation zone, Norwich City manager Alex Neil admits he's looking to add reinforcements during the January transfer window.
With reports suggesting the Canaries are on the verge of adding Everton striker Steven Naismith, Neil refuses to mention any specifics days before the holiday window opens.
The Scottish international will add depth to Neil's attack, with Sunday's goal-scorer Dieumerci Mbokani, Lewis Grabban, and Cameron Jerome highlighting a strike-force short on top-flight experience.
"We are looking to add to the squad but I will not go into details with specific clubs or players," Neil told reporters.
"We will not be talking about individuals."
In addition to conceding his interest in signing new players, the former Barnsley defender also said he won't sell any players during the window.
"It is always difficult because until things are signed and across the line you can think you are as close as you like but until the paper is signed and the player is in the building then nothing has been made complete.
"We have a strong club at the moment and we want to try and add to it."
