Anders Lindegaard could face FA sanctions after biting back at Rooney

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard and current club captain Wayne Rooney took a few shots at one another via the media.
Rooney named Lindegaard as the one player he wouldn't want to be stuck in an elevator with, saying "he's just annoying." Lindegaard did not take too kindly to Rooney's comments, posting a crude picture to his Twitter and Instagram accounts with a scathing caption in response.
Lindegaard's picture could land him in some hot water, however, as the Football Association is considering taking action for the public response, the Independent reports.
