Manchester City has shown great superiority over Southampton in the opening exchanges of Saturday's match, with Fabian Delph adding to Kevin De Bruyne's earlier tap-in on 21 minutes.
The 25-yard strike, which came via a generous deflection off Virgil van Dijk, was his first for the club since his controversial transfer from Aston Villa in the summer. The start also marks his first this season following months compounded by hamstring injuries.
City is 2-0 up and still on the front foot at the Etihad Stadium.
