Report: Burton will let Hasselbaink talk with QPR over manager role
Former Leeds United and Chelsea forward Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has done a fine job since taking over as Burton Albion boss last year, and has attracted the attention of managerless Queens Park Rangers, according to Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports.
He guided the Brewers to the League Two title last term, and now the Staffordshire club is sitting pretty in third in League One. Despite his achievements, the Burton board would reportedly not prevent him from discussing terms with the Championship's QPR.
He has allegedly caught the eye on the west London club, who sits in 15th despite its aspirations of promotion back to the Premier League, and Sky Sports believes they are set to approach the former Netherlands international.
Burton Albion welcomes Colchester United to the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday, and is looking for back-to-back wins after its impressive 1-0 victory at Wigan Athletic on Tuesday.
